A LITTLE MORE ABOUT
Benetti 46M
MISTRESS
A legacy yacht. An unmistakable presence.
Mistress is an iconic 46-metre Benetti with the scale, character and presence to make a statement wherever she cruises. Built in 1991 and extensively refitted in 2024, she combines classic superyacht pedigree with generous entertaining spaces, substantial onboard amenities and the capability for extended voyages.
Based on the Gold Coast, Australia, Mistress is offered exclusively for sale by Leigh-Smith Yachts, her worldwide central agents.
Classic Benetti pedigree
Constructed by Benetti to a design by Stefano Natucci, with interiors by French designer Zuretti, Mistress features a robust steel hull and aluminium superstructure. Her 46-metre length and 8.82-metre beam create an impressive platform for entertaining, relaxing and travelling in comfort. She is classed as a Pleasure Yacht with unrestricted navigation.
Space for family and guests
Mistress accommodates up to 10 guests in five cabins. The main-deck owner's suite features a king bed and two en-suite bathrooms. Guest accommodation comprises two queen cabins, one double cabin and two single cabins, each with an en-suite bathroom.
Up to nine crew are accommodated in four en-suite cabins, plus the captain's private en-suite cabin on the bridge deck--supporting attentive service and comfortable extended stays aboard.
Designed for life on board
The yacht's extensive amenities are tailored to life at sea and at anchor. Guests can unwind in the 1,500-litre jacuzzi, enjoy the sauna or make use of the gym. A hospitality elevator connects the galley, bar and sundeck, while two 800-kilogram hydraulic fold-away cranes support tender and equipment handling.
Entertainment and hospitality features include multiple televisions, Savant smart entertainment, a walk-in fridge and freezer, several additional refrigerators, a well-equipped galley, an aft-deck wine fridge and an upper-deck barbecue.
Capable cruising
Twin MTU 12V 396 TB93 main engines, each rated at 1,960 hp, deliver a reported cruising speed of 12 knots and a maximum speed of 16.7 knots. With approximately 44,500 litres of fuel and a stated range of 2,500 nautical miles, Mistress is equipped for substantial passages. Naiad stabilizers and an ABT hydraulic bow thruster further support comfortable and confident operation.
Onboard systems include two Caterpillar generators, two rebuilt HEM watermakers, Condaria air conditioning, Starlink Global Roaming and a Seatel Orbit satellite system. Navigation equipment includes Furuno and Simrad radar, GPS and AIS, alongside a C. Plath magnetic compass and autopilot.
Significant 2024 refit
Mistress underwent a major refit during 2024-25, with works across the hull, machinery and guest areas. The refit included extensive corrosion removal and treatment, replacement of steel sections where required, weld testing, improvements to drainage, and fresh exterior hull paint, primer and antifoul. New anodes and cathodes were fitted, and the bow thruster and propellers were treated with Propspeed.
Mechanical works included servicing the main engines and generators, replacing mixer and exhaust tubes, a shaft bung seal, sea-chest valves and manifold valves, and rebuilding both watermakers. Tank and bilge areas were also treated, and the water tank was cleaned and recoated with hygienic paint.
Across the decks, works included refreshed paint, sanded teak, repaired teak and corking, new exterior lights and door latches, serviced anchor equipment, and renewed or improved drainage and sealing. The flybridge spa was repainted and sealed, new Perspex was fitted in several areas, and the passerelle door was repaired, painted and aligned. New washing machines and dryers were also installed.
